Supplier Supply Chain Maturity Certification is based on their progressive engagement in the five phase CMP Supplier Development process. The Supply Chain Performance Maturity levels indicate that the Supplier is:
   

PROCESS DRIVEN

  • Supplier understands Unique Supply Chain” Processes (Plan-Source-Make-Delivery-Return-Enable) and their Performance Metric Attributes (Reliability; Responsiveness; Agility; Cost; and Asset Management)

  • Supplier tailors a performance driven strategy for each supply chain segment to maximize the value provided to unique groups or market channel



MARKET AND SUPPLY CHAIN DRIVEN

  • Supplier Unique Supply Chain Processes" and Performance Attributes are defined and compared to its global competitors and/or its Customer's performance alignment objectives

  • Supplier sets reasonable supply chain performance goals via SCORmark™ Performance Benchmarking Report and the Operational Maturity Assessment Report

  • Supplier is building organizational job level competence and support for supply chain success and has completed a Business Process Area (BPA) Outline to guide development

CONTINUOUSLY IMPROVES AND IS COMPANY DRIVEN

  • Supplier manages and compares its Unique Supply Chain Processes and applicable Performance Metric Attributes

  • Supplier conducts analysis of Supply Chain Process performance deviation and root cause issues are identified and solved; Best Practices have been identified to close both Unique Supply Chains and Cross-Enterprise Operational Maturity performance gaps

  • Supplier has a Strategic Improvement Plan (SIP) Outline that integrates "Unique Supply Chains" and "Cross-Enterprise Operational Maturity" improvement actions by Business Process Areas
